Payasa | Dry Fruits KHEER with Rice



INGREDIENTS & METHOD   

(Quick & easy Indian Dessert ready in less than 30 mins) 

  1. 1/4 cup soaked & cooked rice ( + optional chana dal 1/2 tsp. - fried or cooked), 
  2. brown sugar or cane sugar to taste, 
  3. 1/2 cup dry fruits roasted in 1 tsp. ghee(cashews & raisins)
  4. 1 tsp. cardamom powder 
  5. 1/4 cup skim milk


Roast dry fruits in ghee until golden brown, add cardamom, sugar, milk, cooked rice - toss to combine.  Simmer for 2-3 mins, serve hot
