ITALIAN - Chocolate Croissant
Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry sheets (thawed to room temperature)
- 2 cup chocolate chunks or chocolate chips
- Melted butter to brush pastry sheets (inside for that buttery taste & before placing chocolate chunks)
- Milk to brush on top
- Icing sugar for dusting
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 Deg. C
- Line a baking tray with baking sheet or grease the tray with little butter
- Cut pastry sheets into half & brush with melted butter
- Place 1-2 tsps. of chocolate chunks in the centre of pastry sheets
- Cover completely to form rectangle shape
- Brush on top of croissant with little milk
- Bake for about 25 minutes or until they are golden brown on top
- Remove from oven, allow them to cool
- Dust with icing sugar on top & serve
