BENGALURU ADIGE - BREAD Bath

INGREDIENTS

  • 10-12 bread slices(crumbled or thin pieces)
  • 1/2 cup poha (avalakki)
  • 2-3 chopped onions
  • 1-2 green or red chillies 
  • handful of freshly chopped curry & coriander leaves
  • FOR SEASONING - 1 tsp. mustard seeds, 1 tsp. urud dal, 1 tsp. chana dal,  4 tsp. oil, salt to taste

METHOD 

  • Slice & crumble bread slices (or make thin pieces)
  • Wash poha and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan and season with above seasoning ingredients
  • Add onions & chilli - fry until onions turn golden brown 
  • Add chopped curry & coriander leaves
  • Add poha, fry for few seconds
  • Add bread crumbs and salt - mix well to combine & fry for few seconds
  • Remove from heat and serve hot
