Set Dosa with Avarekalu
Ingredients
- 1 cup poha (avalakki)
- 4 cup rice
- 2 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
- 2 cup cooked avarekalu - OPTIONAL
- salt to taste
- pinch of soda
- oil for making dosa
- Wash & soak rice and poha for 5 hours
- Grind this with yogurt & allow it to ferment for at least 5-6 hours or overnight
- Add salt and soda to the fermented batter and prepare dosa.
