Set Dosa with Avarekalu


Ingredients
  • 1 cup poha (avalakki)
  • 4 cup rice
  • 2 cup buttermilk or plain yogurt
  • 2 cup cooked avarekalu - OPTIONAL
  • salt to taste
  • pinch of soda
  • oil for making dosa
Method
  • Wash & soak rice and poha for 5 hours
  • Grind this with yogurt & allow it to ferment for at least 5-6 hours or overnight
  • Add salt and soda to the fermented batter and prepare dosa.
