BANGALORE Iyengar Bakery - Onion Biscuits



INGREDIENTS
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • Handful of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Finely chopped green chillies to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2  tsp. sugar
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 tsp. melted butter
  • 4 tsp. cooking oil
  • Milk & water - as required to make soft dough

METHOD
  • Mix the ingredients together to make a soft dough and let it rest for 30 minutes
  • From the dough mix, pull out small lemon sized balls and arrange on a greased or lined baking tray
  • Bake in pre-heated oven @ 200 degrees for about 30-35 minutes or until done.
