Upside-down NECTARINE CAKE

INGREDIENTS & METHOD
- 1-2 Nectarines (cut into bite size pieces)
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 4 tablespoon butter + extra butter to grease the baking dish & for adding to cake batter
- 1/2 cup sugar + extra for sprinkling to base of the baking dish
- 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 4 tablespoon - milk
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder

In a mixing bowl - add flour, butter, yogurt, sugar, cardamom and prepare batter.
Grease the baking dish with little butter, sprinkle with little sugar. Arrange chopped nectarines, pour the cake batter and spread evenly to cover the fruit.
Bake in a pre-heated oven @ 160 deg. C for about 40 minutes (until a skewer inserted comes out clean).
Remove from oven and allow 5-10 minutes to turn the cake upside-down.
Serve with a dollop of whip cream or ice cream or thickened cream.
