Mixed Apple Jam




INGREDIENTS
  • 2 wood apple, 1 fuji apple, 1 red delicious apple
  • 50 gms Pectin &  4 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cup sugar (more or less to suit your taste)
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger powder, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp. honey
METHOD
  1. Wash, peel, core & dice applies
  2. Grind in a mixer to make the pulp
  3. In a heavy bottomed pan, stir in pectin & bring it to boil
  4. Add grinded apple pulp with other ingredients, mix well 
  5. Cook (on medium heat) until Jam is set & thick (it takes about 40-45 minutes)
  6. When done, remove from heat, allow it to cool
  7. Store in sterilized jars and refrigerate
