Shraavana Maasa (Month of Hindu Religious Festivals) - very important month for the entire sub-continent of India as it is connected to the arrival of the South-West Monsoons.
For Hindu religion, this is the Holy month in the Indian Calendar due to different festivals that are celebrated during this time.
Śrāvaṇa - the fifth month of the Hindu year, beginning in July or August from the first day of the full moon and ending in the third week of August or September, the day of the next full moon.
