MUMBAI Sev Papdi


Indian snack (Chaat) originates from Mumbai, Maharashtra; where papdi (flat puri) is loaded with diced potatoes, tomatoes & onions, chutneys and topped with thin sev, seasoned with lemon juice & chaat masala.








Ingredients & Method

  •  8-9 Papdis
  • 4 boiled & mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas (optional)
  • few tsps. of roasted peanuts (optional)
  • 1 each - finely chopped onion & tomato
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Generous amount of chaat masala 
  • Generous amount of green & sweet chutneys
  • Generous amount of thin sev
  • Few tablespoons of finely chopped coriander leaves
On a serving plate, arrange above ingredients one after the other and serve immediately
