INDIAN Cabbage Pakoda






Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage (I used mixed cabbage variety)
  • salt & red chilli powder to taste
  • pinch of baking soda
  • 2 tsp. ghee (clarified Indian butter)
  • 1.5 cups besan flour
  • 1/4 cup each - rice & plain flours (optional)
  • Oil for deep frying



How to proceed - Add all ingredients in a mixing bowl (except oil for deep frying),  prepare mixture with little water to idli batter consistency.  Deep fry in hot oil.  Serve hot with Chai or Coffee.
