INDIAN - MASALA TEA | SPICY CHAI LATTE




CHAI | TEA - aromatic beverage and according to UK nutritionists it "is a healthier drink which not only rehydrates but it can also protect against heart disease and some type of cancers" 




Serves : 3                                      
Preparation time : less than 20 minutes

 Ingredients:
  • 3-4 tsps.Tea leaves or powder
  • 1/2 tsp. each of turmeric, cardamom, pepper, ginger & clove powder
  • sugar to taste
  • 3 1/2 cup (or mug) boiling water
  • 1 cup (or mug) milk 
  • 1/4 tsp. chai latte syrup (per mug)




Method:
  • Boil water with sugar, turmeric, cardamom, pepper, ginger & clove powders
  • add milk and mix well (on a low flame)
  • add tea leaves or powder with latte syrup and bring it to boil, remove from heat
  • strain and serve hot
