BENGALURU ADIGE - HULI SOPPU ( ಹುಳಿ ಸೊಪ್ಪು )
This is one of my family recipe passed on to generations from my grand-mother, mother & aunties to their children.
2 bunch of chopped leaves (I have used Spinach in this recipe) are pressure cooked until tender
when cool, grinded with 2tsp. cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp. hing (Asafoetida) powder, 1/4 cup coconut, green chillies & peppercorns to taste
simmered by adding mustard seeds seasoning, salt & tamarind juice
Served hot with plain rice, chapati etc.,
