GHEE Rice with Vegetables in Pressure Cooker

GHEE RICE WITH VEGETABLES

INGREDIENTS & METHOD - 2 cup washed Basmati rice, 1 chopped onion, 3/4 cup mixed vegetables, 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder, salt to taste, 3 tablespoon ghee (unsalted butter), 1/2 tsp. each - cardamom powder, clove powder, cinnamon powder
In a pressure cooker - add ingredients and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Remove lid, mix well to combine. Serve hot with Rajma & Moong dal curry
RAJMA & MOONG DAL CURRY
Prep time: 5 mins | Cook time: 20 mins
INGREDIENTS & METHOD - Pressure cook Rajma (soaked overnight) & Moong dal until tender. In a pan, fry, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, hing, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic. Add cooked Rajma & moong dal, add 1/4 cup milk, salt to taste, pepper powder to taste, garam masala to taste. Simmer for 5 mins. Serve hot with Ghee rice.
