Quiche(pronounced
as “Keesh”) - a savory open faced pastry crust with any filling of savory items. Quiche is served hot or cold and it is part of French
cuisine but is also popular in other parts of the globe as a party food.
GREENS QUICHE without Pastry
INGREDIENTS - 1/2 cup onion, 1 capsicum, 1/2 cup spinach, few broccoli florets, 1 zucchini, 1/4 cup cheese, 4 tablespoon self-raising flour, 1/4 cup each milk & yogurt, turmeric, salt, cracked chilli & pepper to taste
METHOD - Toss flour & cheese together, add greens, combine milk,
yogurt, seasoning. Pour into greased baking dish, bake in a pre-heated
oven at 175 deg. C for 40 minutes. Serve with toast, salad, dressing.
