INGREDIENTS & METHOD
MAIN INGREDIENTS - 1/2 kg. cabbage, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds for seasoning
GRINDING INGREDIENTS - fresh green or red chillies to taste, few pepper corns, 1/2 cup coconut, 1/4 cup white poppy seeds, few tablespoons chana dal, 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder, hing to taste, 3/4 tsp. cumin seeds - grinded into powder
METHOD - Chopped cabbage cooked until tender by adding salt. Mixed with mustard seasoning and grinded spice powder. Simmered for 10 mins, served hot with Indian breads
