Chocolate FUDGE








FUDGE – confectionery made from milk, butter & sugar; heated to a soft ball stage and beating the mixture while it cools, to acquire smooth & creamy consistency.  Variations may include adding of dry fruits, nuts, caramel, candy and other flavorings.  Fudges are popular at gift shops at airports, in tourist areas and attractions.







INGREDIENTS
METHOD


6 tablespoons melted butter
1 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. vanilla essence
395 gms condensed milk
500 gms chocolate (dark, milk & white chocolates used in this recipe)


Prep:  5 mins | Cook: 5 mins
Refrigeration: until set

In a saucepan, place chocolates, vanilla, butter, condensed milk, lemon juice and cook on low heat until melted and mixture is thick and smooth
Pour this mixture to a dish, smooth over and refrigerate until set.  Slice into shapes and serve
