YEAST-FREE Bread Varieties



Simple Yogurt & Milk found in every kitchen can do much more than just using with breakfast cereals and adding to hot beverages.  Here is my simple and tasty Yeast-free Bread varieties using simple ingredients; ready in less than 50 minutes.





2 cup all purpose flour, 1 cup wheat flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder, 1cup yogurt, 1cup olive oil, salt & chilli flakes to taste, chopped coriander & curry leaves.  Baked @ 190 deg. C for 20 minutes (until cooked through in the centre and golden brown on top)



For CINNAMON-FRUIT LOAF - 3/4 cup mixed dry fruits, 3 cup self-raising flour, 3 tsp. each cinnamon powder & sugar, 4 tablespoon each extra-virgin olive oil, 3/4 cup plain yogurt - combined together to make a soft dough, baked in a pre-heated oven at 200 deg. C for about 45 minutes (or until done).



INGREDIENTS & METHOD 
(Makes 6 PLAIN bread rolls)

Self-raising flour - 2 cup
milk - 3/4 cup
pinch of salt
3 tsp. sugar (optional)
4 heaped tbs. plain yogurt
extra virgin olive oil - 1/4 cup



In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well to combine to make a soft dough.   Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190 deg. C for about 40 minutes.


INGREDIENTS & METHOD
( Makes 1 medium sized SAVORY roll with
sun-dried tomato & cottage cheese)

2 cup self-raising flour
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
salt & ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup sun-dried tomato pieces
4 heaped tablespoons of cottage cheese

Mix all the ingredients to make a soft dough.  Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190 deg. C for 30 minutes.
