Rose Syrup Slice (Burfi)

Serves : 12 -15 pieces
- Rose syrup - 1/2 cup
- Raw sugar - 1 cup
- Unsalted butter (ghee) - 4 large tablespoon
- cardamom powder - 2 tsp.
- Almond powder - 1/4 cup
- Lightly roasted Semolina - 1 cup
- Coconut cream - 400ml
- FOR GARNISHING - desiccated coconut & cherry (optional)
- Heat a pan on medium heat, melt butter (ghee), add coconut cream, sugar, rose syrup,cardamom powder - mix well to combine & boil this for few minutes
- Slowly add, roasted semolina and cook until the mixture becomes a thick mass consistency (as shown in the picture above)
- Pour the mixture to a greased tray and allow to completely cool
- Garnish with desiccated coconut & cherry (optional)
- Slice & serve
