Mangalore (officially known as Mangaluru) is the chief port city of the Indian state of Karnataka which is located about 352 kms west of the state capital Bangalore between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghat mountain ranges. Ingredients for making GUDBUD ice-cream
- 3 different flavours of ice cream (any flavours)
- 1/2 to 1 cup - chopped fresh mixed fruits (any fruits) - banana, apple, pineapple, mango, kiwi fruit, strawberries
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup - chopped dry fruits & nuts (cashews, pistachios, almonds, raisins, cherries)
- 150 gms Jelly (any flavour - to prepare follow packet instructions. In this recipe I have used orange flavoured Jelly)
- 1-2 tsps. rose syrup
- Half cup - vanilla flavoured custard (optional)
- few chopped mixed fruit lollies (optional)
Method
In a tall serving glass, arrange above ingredients as below & serve immediately:-
- 1st scoop of ice cream
- fresh fruits OR fresh fruits mixed with custard
- 2nd scoop of ice cream
- dry fruits & nuts
- 1 tablespoon Jelly (any flavour)
- rose syrup
- 3rd scoop of ice cream
- Glace Cherry on top
