INDIAN Marinated Mushrooms
Ingredients for MARINADE
sliced mushrooms + green capsicum (2 cup)
plain yogurt (1/4 cup)
turmeric & chilli powders (1 tsp.)
salt (to taste)
oil (2 tsp.)
Ingredients for GRINDING
tomatoes (1-2)
cashews & almonds (few)
ginger, garlic, chilli (to taste)
Ingredients for SEASONING
cumin seeds (1.5 tsp.)
sliced onions (1)
oil / ghee / butter (few tsps.)
Other Ingredients
coriander powder (2 tsp.)
garam masala (pinch)
cardamom powder (pinch)
dry methi leaves (1/2 tsp.)
whip cream (1/4 cup)
cheese or khoya or khoa (little bit)
sugar & salt (to taste)
METHOD
- Marinade the ingredients as mentioned above for 20 minutes
- Grind the ingredients as mentioned above into smooth paste
- Heat oil in a wok, season using seasoning ingredients as mentioned above
- Add marinaded items, cook until tender (on low heat for approximately about 15-20 minutes)
- Slowly add other ingredient items, mix well to combine and simmer for few minutes
- Serve hot with rice, roti, naan, chapati etc.,
