INDIAN Raw Banana Fritters | ಬಾಳೇಕಾಯಿ ಬಜ್ಜಿ




Ingredients  (makes 16 pieces)
  • 2 raw bananas (peel the skin, slice lengthwise and soak it in water for few minutes)
  • 1 cup - Besan Flour
  • 1/4 cup - rice flour
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder to taste
  • pinch of baking soda
  • oil for deep frying 



Method
  • In a large bowl, add all the ingredients (except sliced raw bananas), 
  • prepare a batter (similar to idli batter consistency)
  • Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan, dip raw bananas in the prepared batter
  • deep fry them on a low - medium flame until golden brown
  • serve hot
