INDIAN Raw Banana Fritters | ಬಾಳೇಕಾಯಿ ಬಜ್ಜಿ
Ingredients (makes 16 pieces)
- 2 raw bananas (peel the skin, slice lengthwise and soak it in water for few minutes)
- 1 cup - Besan Flour
- 1/4 cup - rice flour
- salt to taste
- red chilli powder to taste
- pinch of baking soda
- oil for deep frying
Method
- In a large bowl, add all the ingredients (except sliced raw bananas),
- prepare a batter (similar to idli batter consistency)
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan, dip raw bananas in the prepared batter
- deep fry them on a low - medium flame until golden brown
- serve hot
