ORANGE PEEL GOJJU
ಕಿತ್ತಳೆ ಸಿಪ್ಪೆಯ ಗೊಜ್ಜು

Ingredients

Orange peel finely chopped -peel from 3 oranges |

Spices (roasted &
grinded into smooth powder) - dry red chillies to taste, pepper corns to
taste, 2 tsp. coriander seeds, 1 tsp. chana dal, 1/2 tsp. methi seeds, 4
tsp. white sesame seeds, 2 tsp. dry coconut |

Seasoning - 2 tsp. cooking oil, pinch of hing & turmeric powders, 1 tsp. each - jeera & mustard seeds, few curry leaves |
Other ingredients - Tamarind juice, Jaggery (traditional uncentrifuged sugar) powder, salt to taste
Method
 |
Heat oil in a pan, season with seasoning ingredients |

add chopped orange peel - cook until tender / soft |
 |
add grinded spices, tamarind juice, jaggery & salt - simmer for few minutes (to your desired consistency) |
 |
serve hot with rice & ghee (clarified butter) |
