Broken / Cracked Wheat

INGREDIENTS (serves 6-8 people)
1 cup cracked wheat (roasted)
2 cup powdered jaggery
2 cup milk
1 cup water
few raisins & cashews (toasted in ghee)
2 tsp. cardamom powder
4 tsp. ghee
pinch of saffron strings (soaked in little bit of milk for 20 mins)
METHOD
Roast cracked wheat until golden brown
Cook roasted cracked wheat with 1 cup water until done
Heat a heavy bottomed vessel
fry raisins & cashews in ghee for few minutes
Add jaggery powder and melt it by using little bit of water
Add cooked cracked wheat, milk, dissolved saffron strings, cardamom powder
mix well and simmer for few minutes, Serve warm or cold
