Appopa ((in Kannada language pronounced as “ಅಪೋಪ”)

Ingredients:-
- ½ cup each of rice, wheat & plain flours
- Jaggery or palm sugar to taste
- Pinch of cardamom powder
- ¼ cup coconut powder or freshly grated coconut
- Cooking oil or clarified butter (ghee) for roasting
Method:-
Using the above ingredients (except
oil), prepare thick batter (like idli batter) using water. Heat a non-stick pan, pour ½ - 1 cup of this
batter (don’t spread the batter), apply oil or ghee to sides. Cook both sides on a low flame and serve
warm.
