Capsicum Gojju

This is my simple, easy and quick Gojju variety using Capsicum.  There is no tamarind used here instead I used home-made tomato puree and it tastes scrumptious.  Here is my method for the same:-

Ingredients:

1 green capsicum, sliced
Pinch of turmeric and Hing powders
Rasam powder or red hot chilli powder - to taste
Roasted Methi powder - 1/4 tsp.
Roasted cumin & coriander powders - 1/2 tsp. each
Salt to taste
Tomato Puree (boiled tomatoes, skin removed, blended into puree) - of 2 medium sized tomatoes
Jaggery powder (you can replace with sugar instead of Jaggery) - to taste
Roasted sesame seeds - 1/2 tsp. (roasted and powdered)
2-3 tsps. Cooking oil
1/4 tsp. chickpea flour paste (kadalehittu mixed with water to form smooth paste) - this is optional and I used as I like my gojju with thick texture
For seasoning - curry leaves, coriander leaves, mustard seeds, chana & urud dal

Method - In pan heat oil, season using seasoning ingredients.  Fry capsicum until tender, add other ingredients, mix well to combine and simmer for few minutes.  Serve hot with rice or any Indian bread varieties.
