INDIAN Mint Pakoda
Pakoda - deep fried fritters found across South Asia
Ingredients
- Rice & Besan (chickpea) Flour in equal quantities - 1+1 cup
- pinch of hing & cooking soda
- salt & red hot chilli powders to taste
- Chopped fresh red chillies to taste
- 1 finely chopped red onion
- 1 small bunch of chopped fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup hot oil (while mixing ingredients)
- Oil for deep frying
Method
- In a large bowl, mix ingredients to combine (batter should be like idli batter consistency)
- Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium flame in batches until golden brown
- Serve hot
