Instant Ragi Dosa & Onion Chutney




For INSTANT RAGI DOSA - I have just used simple ingredients such as:-
  • 2 cup ragi flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk (majjige) 
  • water as required
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp. chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp toasted cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. toasted fenugreek powder (mentyapudi)

METHOD - mix everything in a large bowl and make a smooth & thin batter.  Heat a pan, drizzle little bit of oil, pour a cup of ragi dosa batter, drizzle a spoonful of oil on top, cook (in a medium heat) both sides until golden brown.  Serve hot with onion chutney.


For ONION CHUTNEY - I have used following ingredients:-
  • 1 chopped & fried onion
  • red chilli powder to taste
  • salt & tamarind to taste
  • 2 tsp. coconut
METHOD -  grind everything into a coarse paste, season with mustard seeds, hing & curry leaves, serve with Ragi Dosa.
