Badam Halwa





INGREDIENTS
  • Ghee & sugar, as required
  • Cardamom powder to taste
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 spoon - powdered coconut (roasted)
  • 1/2 cup - raw almonds, soaked, skin removed

METHOD
  • Soak almonds for 3-4 hours, remove skin and grind into smooth paste using milk
  • In a heavy bottom pan, heat ghee, add the grinded almond paste with other ingredients & keep stirring (on low-medium heat) until mixture becomes thick and form a mass
  • Remove from heat and allow it to cool, serve at room temperature
