INDIAN Marinated Paneer Pizza
Marinated Paneer Pizza with Indian Spices & Herbs
PANEER is a popular Indian Cottage Cheese used in variety of Indian cooking including palak paneer, paneer chole, paneer pakoda, paneer tikka and the list goes on... Recently in my kitchen, I tried making Pizza out of Paneer using various Indian herbs & spices to get that authentic, spicy Indian taste for all Indian food lovers. Here is my version to suit my taste buds (there are different methods to prepare this pizza using paneer by other food bloggers).

Ingredients
- Pizza bases (for home-made refer to my previous blog on making Italian Pizza) @ http://veggierasoi.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/italian-cuisine.html
- cheese slices & cheddar cheese (quantity to suit your dietary needs)
- 1-2 tsps. BBQ & Tomato sauce - to spread pizza bases
- 500gms paneer cubes pack
- 1 red onion & 1 green capsicum (cut into small pieces)
- Indian curry powder to taste
- Methi powder, sabji masala & bengali seasoning (panch phoran) 1-2 tsps. each
- salt & pepper powders to taste
- Chopped green chillies & red chilli flakes to taste
- Ginger-garlic paste to taste (OPTIONAL)
- lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
- pinch of hing & turmeric powders
- 1/2 cup butter milk
METHOD
- Except cheese, BBQ & tomato sauces, add all other marinating ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Refrigerate this for 4-5 hours
- Heat little oil in a pan, roast marinated paneer mixture for 2-3 minutes
- Spread pizza base with BBQ & tomato sauces
- Spread a layer with cheese slices & cheddar cheese
- Add marinated & roasted paneer mixture, spread evenly (extra salt, pepper & cheese may be added on top)
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180 deg. C until cheese is melted and little bit golden brown on the top (approx. 20-25 mins) Slice & serve hot.
