ITALIAN - Pasta Bake
Vegetable Pasta Bake
- 500 grams dried spirals pasta
- 2 cup cooked vegetables (carrot, zucchini, green beans, onion, cauliflower & broccoli)
- 2-3 cups grated cheese
- salt & pepper powders to taste
- 1/4 tsp. each of dry oregano, parsley & basil
- 750 grams tomato-chilli pasta sauce
- Olive oil
Method
- Cook spiral pasta according to packet instructions, drain and keep it aside
- Chop vegetables into bite sizes, cook until tender
- In a pan, heat 1 tsp. olive oil, simmer tomato chilli pasta sauce by adding salt, pepper, oregano, parsley & basil, mix well
- Add cooked pasta & vegetables to the sauce, stir to coat
- preheat oven to 200 deg. C
- grease a baking dish, place the prepared pasta, sprinkle with cheese on top
- bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden on top, serve hot
